PKRA Fuerteventura

Every year we have a PKRA stop in Fuerteventura. Everyone knows the wind is strong and gusty.

I was pretty nervous for my first heat against my teammate Karolina. She was having a hard time on her 4.5 m. I was having an epic time out there and made it to the next round.
Up next teammate Jo Wilson. I remember my heat against here in Venezuela it was a tuff one. So I knew that I had to give everything to beat her.
Jo was riding strong and landed an air pass. I tried to do my blind judge but I just didn’t make it.

Doubles:
The doubles looked really good for me. My first heat was against my funny but crazy friend Elena Pitoulis. I had a super nice heat and made it to the next. Up next was Sjoukje, I beat here with my railly to blind and a kiteloop in the last minute.
For that day I was done, I went to bed early to make myself ready for another tuff heat against Angela Peral.
I was super motivated before my heat and willing to win it. I can tell I was riding like a peace of shit. That was the worst heat of my life. I think I landed only 2 tricks. I was really pissed off with myself (I’m still). I’m going to make sure that it’s not going to happen a second time.
My final result was 6th, not really happy with that.

After this I’ll be home for 3 weeks to train for Germany!!

zo zie je maar hoe de wind waait, soms gaat het wel goed soms wat minder!
